Eight Pillars of Profitability
Strategy
Business owners generally need to be more strategic, long-term focused and less day-to-day.
If you don’t clearly differentiate your business from the competitors, who will? Your business’s
mission, vision and goals need to align with your personal life.
Leadership
A leader will inspire his/her team to follow the vision and goals placed before them. Time is
well balanced between managing a business and “being” the business, with more and more time
spent doing what you like to do and what you are good at.
Marketing
The target market is clearly defined and you deliver a congruent message, each and every time.
Lead generation is measured and you are in control of all incoming inquiries.
Sales
A selling system is well documented and working, along with database tracking of every lead converted.
Money
Financial statements are organized to meet your business structure and plans. Cash flow along
with assets, such as inventory and receivables, are under control and well forecasted. Your
statements allow for clear and open communication with lending institutions of your choosing.
Operations & Customer Service
Service quality and delivery reliability are consistently high. Key performance indicators
allow you to measure operations, even while the owner is absent.
Your People
You are able to find, attract and keep good people because you understand and satisfy their needs.
Similar to you, they are committed to the success of the enterprise.
Systems
You are now able to grow exponentially from having established proven and clearly documented
systems. Root cause analysis of errors are now addressed within your procedures and training.
Your business can be sold at a high value because a new owner could readily maintain ongoing earnings.
Programmes
One-on-One Advisory Services
Generally, an advisor meets privately with the business owner three times per month for
1.5 to 2 hours. A customized action plan is established that considers business strategy,
urgencies and company/owner’s goals for the coming year. Typically attractive to established
firms with revenues from $750k to $20 million.
Affordable, interactive group sessions are provided to six to ten business owners; who meet twice per month,
for a fixed, seven-month period. In addition, eight private advisor sessions are scheduled in order to
assist in selected concerns and a confidential business strategy. This format is targeted to smaller,
established businesses of $300k to $2 million in sales.

assist in developing a clear and concise exit strategy along with applying techniques designed to
maximize after-tax returns and selling price. Expert guest speakers (on topics such as: taxation,

key performance indicators, attracting potential buyers and financial statements preparation.
